Traditional Hon Gyokuro is one of the most exclusive and high quality types of Japanese green tea. It is known for its powerful umami taste and long aftertaste.

The tea is grown under shade using traditional rice straw screens, and the tea leaves are picked by hand. This method also gives the tea a unique aroma and taste that is much appreciated by tea connoisseurs.

Kirari 31 is a relatively new tea cultivar registered in 2015. It is known for its high umami content, low astringency and well-balanced flavor profile.
